Post Malone To Embark On Summer Tour To Promote New Album ‘Austin’
Coming off a successful run in 2022, Post Malone announced he will be back on the road this summer with the “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” tour to promote his much-anticipated fifth full-length album, Austin.
The Grammy-nominated artist will visit 24 cities in July and August. Post Malone will kick off the Live Nation-produced tour at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana, and make stops at Buffalo’s Darien Lake Amphitheater, Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion, Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia, Houston’s Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, Arizona, before wrapping up the trek at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California.
“I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and do some more shows for y’all,” Post Malone said in a statement. “Help me put a baby through college and come on out. Some cool new production, new songs, and a very, very handsome man up on stage. Sending love to you and yours.”
Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 19, at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased at LiveNation.com. Fans who are also Citi card members will have access to the presale, which begins May 17 at 10 a.m. local time and runs throughout the week leading up to the general onsale.
Post Malone, an eight-time diamond-certified global star, will drop his new single, “Mourning,” this Friday, May 19, via Mercury Records/Republic Records and then release Austin July 28. The upcoming tour promises to deliver the artist’s “signature exhilarating performance with music from his upcoming album as well as fan favorites in a completely reimagined show.”
Last year, Post Malone’s “Twelve Carat Tour” was among the top-grossing runs, selling more than 351,000 tickets and earning $59 million across 29 shows, according to box office reports submitted to Pollstar. The popular artist ranked No. 42 on Pollstar’s Top 200 Worldwide Tour in the 2022 year-end issue.
