Coldplay announced their “Music Of The Spheres World Tour” will head over to Asia in 2024 with new dates announced in Manila, Singapore and Bangkok next January and February.
The new shows kick off on Jan. 19 at Philippine Arena in Manila before heading to Singapore for four performances at Singapore National Stadium Jan. 23 to 27. Coldplay will then wrap up their Asian leg on Feb. 3 in Bangkok at Rajamangala National Stadium.
Along with the newly announced dates, Coldplay unveiled their supporting acts for several upcoming shows. Yoasobi will join the band in Tokyo, Accusefive will support in Kaohsiung, Bunga will support in Kuala Lumpur and Rahmania Astrini will join the band in Jakarta.
Last week, Coldplay shared a report of their tour’s carbon footprint following their sustainability initiative to make the tour greener, and has produced 47% less CO2 emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016/17. They have also been planting one tree per concert grower and are already at 5 million new trees.
In 2022, Coldplay submitted 26 headline reports to Pollstar’s Boxoffice with a total of 3,802,812 tickets grossing over $342 million. So far, the bands reported dates from Brazil in 2023 include six shows at Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo in Sao Paulo from March 10 to 18 grossing a total $40.1 million with 439,651 tickets sold, as well as $8.12 million for two shows at Estadio Couto Periera in Curitiba and $17.2 million at Estadio Olimpico Joao Havelange in Rio De Janeiro.
Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale starting June 20, with fans able to register for a presale that begins on June 19. Coldplay will also be making a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows, allowing fans to access tickets at a more affordable price.
