‘Day Of The deadmau5’ Returns In Fall
San Francisco, Chicago, Mexico City and Morrison, Colorado will all have a chance to celebrate “Day of the deadmau5” this October as the electronic musician announces six new dates for his annual celebration.
The shows kick off on Oct. 21 at The Midway Blockparty in San Francisco, with deadmau5’s Test Pilot side project performing at The Midway afterparty. From there, deadmau5 will perform two nights at Radius in Chicago on Oct. 27 and 28 before heading to Mexico City’s Pepsi Center on Oct. 31. The “Day of the deadmau5” shows wrap up on Nov. 3 and 4 with two nights at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
In addition to the shows, the mau5shop pop-up will return to each city, where fans can purchase exclusive merchandise custom made for the run. Artists on the mau5trap label will also be at the pop-ups for meet and greets with fans.
The majority of deadmau5’s appearances this year have taken place at his residency at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas. Among his box office reports submitted to Pollstar, deadmau5’s Jan. 1 show at Echostage in Washington, D.C., grossed $166,795. He also performed two nights in Boston on Dec. 15 and 16, first at Big Night Live (selling 1,171 tickets grossing $50,494) and MGM Music Hall at Fenway (selling 4,418 tickets grossing $163,339).
Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale starting June 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
