Cheap Trick Announces U.S. Tour Set For October

Cheap Trick is following up its summer plans supporting Rod Stewart with its own U.S. headline tour this fall. The run of dates is scheduled throughout October and concentrated in theaters. 

Along with the Stewart shows, which are booked Aug. 1 to Sept. 1, the power pop band also has a handful of previously announced headline dates lined up in July and September and a few festival appearances. Plus, Cheap Trip is headlining Saturday’s lineup at the Songs 4 Soldiers Benefit Concert in Columbia, Illinois, Sept. 16 with Travis Tritt. 

The newly announced fall tour starts Oct. 2 at the Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, Missouri. Stops include the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska; the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona; Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas; Warnors Theatre in Fresno, California and Gallo Center For the Arts in Modesto, California. The last show on the books is Oct. 22 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada. 

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are continuing to support their 2021 release, In Another World, which marks the band’s 20th studio album. 

A presale for the October dates began Wednesday with code CTLIVE. The public onsale starts Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m. PT. 

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Cheap Trick include an April 16 show at  Center Stage at MGM Northfield Park in Northfield, Ohio, that sold 1,820 tickets and grossed $124,921.
