Crosstown Concerts UK Appoints Connor Cupples
Crosstown Concerts has strengthened its national touring and concert business by appointing Conor Cupples as national promoter.
Cupples has 18 years of experience working in the music industry. He began as a local promoter, was the venue manager live music venue Gwdihw in Cardiff, Wales, and progressed on to become operations manager and promoter at Orchard Live.
Artists he’s worked with include Thunder, You Me At Six, IDLES, Viagra Boys, TV Girl, Feeder, Rufus Wainwright, and others.
Other highlights of Cupples’ time at Orchard Live include delivering a secret warm up show with Glastonbury headliner Paul McCartney, major outdoor shows with Diana Ross, Bryan Adams, Tears for Fears, Paul Weller, Gerry Cinnamon, and more.

Crosstown Concerts director Conal Dodds commented, “Connor has been on my radar for a few years now and we are delighted to have him joining our team. He’s very well regarded across the industry and we look forward to him developing new opportunities for us across the UK.”

Crosstown Concerts’ forthcoming shows include gigs with Ash, Pixies, Vaccines, The Menzingers, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Barenaked Ladies, Max Cooper, Slowdive, and Royksopp.
Crosstown doesn’t just deal in concerts. The company just announced 18 sold-out dates with Brian Butterfield, the alter ego of English actor, comedian, director and screenwriter Peter Serafinowicz; a sold-out UK tour with radio personality and podcast host James O’Brien; and a Polar Express Christmas experience on the heritage railway of Swanage, England.
