U2 Adds 11 More Dates At Sphere for 'U2:UV Achtung Baby Live'

After opening Sphere Las Vegas with “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live,” legendary band U2, along with Sphere Entertainment Co. and Live Nation, has announced 11 additional dates at the venue, making 36 dates total. The shows will now run through Feb. 18.

So far, U2 has performed nine sold-out shows at the venue since kicking off the shows on Sept. 29. “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live” marked U2’s first live performances in four years, with Sphere the only venue in the world where fans can see the show. With mind-blowing visuals that fully immerse fans into the show, the venue and set highlight the best modern-day technology has to offer.

“Jim Dolan, thank you for the Sphere, you’re one mad bastard, one mad bastard,” Bono said during the band’s opening night performance.

Paid subscribers of U2.com are eligible to submit a ticket request for the newly announced dates. Presale begins Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. PT and closes Oct. 21 at 10 p.m. PT. Ticket confirmations will be sent out by the evening of Oct. 24. A general onsale for tickets begins Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Tickets will be restricted from transfer in order to deter scalpers and keep tickets at face value.

At each show, 50 tickets from an exclusive VIP riser will be made available for purchase benefiting Bono and Bobby Shriver’s (RED) organization that aims to fight AIDS.
