Aspen Live Opens Registration For 27th Annual Conference Dec. 7-9
It’s time to wax those skis and put on the thinking caps: Aspen Live, the annual gathering of industry’s most impactful thought leaders, takes place for the 27th year, Dec. 7-9 at the Limelight Hotel in Aspen, Colorado.
Among the impressive speakers already lined up, with more to be announced, are Louis Messina, Sr. (founder, Messina Touring Group); Omar Al-Joulani (Live Nation President, Touring and Co-President, U.S. Concerts); Seth Dodowsky (Head of NFL Music); Dayna Frank (Co-Founder, NIVA; Owner, First Avenue); Dan Steinberg (Live Nation/Emporium Presents); Dave Graham, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins (Co-Founders, Latitude 38; producers, BottleRock Napa Valley); Greg Patterson (Director of Live, Spotify); and top music attorneys Dina LaPolt and Gene Salomon.
Registration for the exclusive gathering is limited to the first 200, and can be completed through the conference website HERE.
Aspen Live differentiates itself from typical conferences in a few important ways. In addition to being a more intimate gathering, it eschews panels and competing content and instead features guest speakers, fireside chats, workshops and team competitions.
Meetings are scheduled in the late afternoon and evenings, leaving daytime hours open for skiing and other activities including snowmobiling, cooking classes, tennis, nature walks, gourmet lunches and more.
There’s plenty of time baked in for networking, too. “The Aspen family does business together. Guests attend because they walk away with a deal…or three,” says Aspen Live Chief Connection Officer Jim Lewi.
Emporium Presents’ Dan Steinberg adds, “you get one-on-one interactions with the industry’s true deal makers.”
Lewi says, “Our goal is to be the ‘Sun Valley for the music business’. Summer camp works well too. Besides amazing guest speakers, our hope is that attendees take at least one idea home that can be implemented into their businesses and show immediate results, and leave with at least two new or rekindled relationships that will help their business (social equity) moving forward. We keep the group together and talking.”
Aspen Live is sponsored by Access Event Solutions, Belly Up Aspen, Bill Young Productions and Universe Ticketing.
