Peter Hook & The Light Announce 2024 North American Tour Dates

Peter Hook and the Light is setting out on tour in 2024 with dates across Australia, New Zealand and the UK and Ireland. Now, Hook has also announced when the shows will be stopping throughout North America, with dates in the United States and Canada.

The shows kick off on Aug. 31 at History in Toronto with stops in Boston, New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Austin, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in Denver’s Ogden Theatre.

Throughout the trek, Hook will perform the Substance albums by Joy Division and New Order in full.

“It still amazes me how enjoyable it is to play the Substance LPs,” Hook said in a statement. “The contrast between Joy Division and New Order is very apparent but both complement each other very well. My only frustration is not being able to play more of our records each night. I am totally looking forward to the next phase. So, let’s enjoy some Substance and get ready for the future.”

Among Peter Hook’s most recent tour dates reported to Pollstar’s Boxoffice include a gross of $22,912 for his show at Paradise Rock Club in Boston on Oct. 26, 2019. Hook will be returning to the venue during his upcoming dates on Sept. 3, 2024.

In October, the band performed at Eventim Apollo for their biggest-ever London shows, with the venue’s capacity seating 5,300.
