Ground Control Touring And Noise For Now Announce Abortion Access Benefit
Ground Control Touring and Noise For Now have teamed up for their second annual abortion access benefit series, A Night of Music in Support of Abortion Funds, Community and Bodily Autonomy. The event will be taking place on Jan. 20 in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia and Nashville.
The benefit will find 100% of proceeds going toward Noise For Now, a non-profit specializing in reproductive justice. The organization will then allocate funds to local independent abortion clinics and abortion funds in each region where the benefit concerts are taking place.
In Los Angeles, the benefit takes place at Lodge Room with performances by Aurat, Anthony Anzaldo, Austin Getz, Barry Johnson, Black Marble, Blondshell, Faux Real, John Dwyer, Mz Neon, Neggy Gemmy, Panther Modern, Patriarchy, Reggie Watts, Sadgirl, Sammie Pearson, Sextile, Shannon Lay, Them Jeans and Tim Heidecker.
In Chicago, the benefit takes place at Empty Bottle with performances by Divino NiƱo, Macie Stewart, Melkbelly, Resavoir and Is This Whit.
In New York, the benefit takes place at Bowery Ballroom and features performances by Chanel Beads, Donna Missal, DREA, Frankie Cosmos, keiyaA, Kevin Devine, LustSickPuppy, NOIA, Nourished By Time, Pom Pom Squad and youbet.
In Philadelphia, the benefit takes place at Johnny Brenda’s and features performances by Florry, Frances Quinlan, Gladie, Poison Ruin and Radiator Hospital.
In Nashville, the benefit takes place at DRKMTTR and sees performances by Brian Brown, Crystal Egg, Mali Velasquez, Megan Loveless, MSPAINT, Snooper, Soccer Mommy, Total Wife, Wombo and Upchuck.
