Sphere Branches Out, Books First Corporate Keynote
First there was U2 and Darren Aronofsky and then there was Phish and Dead & Company. Up next at Sphere? A tech CEO.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise president and CEO Antonio Neri will deliver the keynote address of HPE Discover 2024 inside the innovative venue June 18.
It will be the first keynote — and other than the repertory “Postcard From Earth” from Aronovsky, the first non-musical event — at Sphere, as the venue expands its content offerings, a move portended by the hiring of Jennifer Koester as President, Sphere Business Operations, in January. The announcement of her hire specifically noted her bailiwick included “developing a corporate conference business for product launches and other events.”
“Sphere is where the world’s biggest artists, and now the biggest brands, go when they want to create an experience unlike any other,” Koester said in a statement announcing the HPE event. “Sphere is a next-generation medium and a powerful platform for companies to educate and demonstrate – connecting with their audiences in a way they can only do at Sphere. The HPE keynote will leverage the venue’s cutting-edge technologies to deliver a bespoke experience that sets a new bar for brand storytelling and corporate events.”
“Big moments call for bold moves,” said Jim Jackson, Chief Marketing Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “At the core of HPE’s rapid transformation is a commitment to bringing innovative, new experiences that engage new audiences and define the future. Sphere is the perfect venue for us to declare what’s next for our brand and to bring to life the technologies that will enable enterprises to thrive in the AI era.”
HPE Discover 2024 is scheduled for the week of June 17 at the Venetian.
