CAA Names Managing Directors, New Agency Board Members
Creative Artists Agency announced the appointment of nine managing directors and “an evolution” of its agency board, the company announced April 11.
The Managing Directors will work alongside CAA Co-Chairman and CEO Bryan Lourd, Co-Chairmen Kevin Huvane and Richard Lovett and President Jim Burtson on “a wide range of strategic business and operational matters,” according to a statement
The newly minted managing directors are Rob Light, Howard Nuchow, Joe Cohen, Michael Levine, Joel Lubin, Maha Dakhil, Chris Silbermann, Tiffany Ward, and Paul Danforth. Chief Financial Officer Carol Sawdye and Chief Legal Officer Hilary Krane continue to serve in their leadership roles.
After French billionaire François-Henri Pinault and his family investment firm, Artémis, officially acquired a majority stake in CAA in September, it was announced Lourd, Huvane and Lovett would continue to lead CAA and remain as co-chairmen, with Lourd as CEO and Burtson, who was led the negotiations for CAA during the Artémis talks, remaining as president.
The Agency Board will work with the CAA’s Co-Chairmen and President on “ensuring the continued strength of the company’s highly regarded culture of service, collaboration, and opportunity, built for personal client service. Among other areas, it will focus on organizational excellence, state-of-the-art dealmaking, training and development, and sustained innovation,” according to Thursday’s statement.
Members include Katie Anderson, Emma Banks, Lorrie Bartlett, Matt Blake, Alan Braun, Austin Brown, William Brown, Libby Bush, Ben Dey, Jaime Feld, John Garvey, Liz Gray, Sloan Harris, Jeff Krones, Franklin Latt, Brandon Lawrence, Michelle Kydd Lee, Joe Machota, Lisa Joseph Metelus, Matthew O’Donohoe, Praveen Pandian, Dan Rabinow, Rachel Rusch, Roeg Sutherland, Nick Thimm, Natalie Tran and Ida Ziniti.
