Grupo Frontera Supporting New Album With 28-Date U.S. Tour

On the heels of releasing their much-anticipated sophomore album, Grupo Frontera announced they will be hit the road later this year for “Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada Tour,” a 28-date trek promoted by Live Nation that will have the música Mexicana band making stops at some of North America’s top arenas, including one night at the soon-to-open Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The six-member band hailing from Edinburg, Texas, will open the tour at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Aug. 2 and make stops at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Dallas’ American Airlines Center, San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center, Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina, Montreal’s Place Bell, Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and Viejas Arena in San Diego. Grupo Frontera will be one of the first Latin acts to perform at Intuit Dome, the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers that reportedly cost $2 billion, on Sept. 20, and the tour concludes with a hometown show at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg on Oct. 5.

Fans can purchase tickets via the artist presale beginning May 14 at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale begins May 17 at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com. VIP packages available via vipnation.com will also be available and may include premium tickets, an opportunity to meet and greet the band as well as snap a photo, access to the preshow soundcheck, exclusive merchandise and more.

Grupo Frontera quickly ascended to the top of the charts when they broke into the Mexican music scene in 2022. After collaborating with Bad Bunny on “un x100to,” a song that has garnered nearly 1 billion streams on Spotify, the band signed with Noah Assad’s management firm Habibi, which manages the Puerto Rican trap star as well as Karol G and Mora, and also found success on the road. The band grossed $17.7 million off 26 headline shows in 2023, according to the Pollstar Boxoffice, including a sold-out performance at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on Oct. 20 that hauled in $1.7 million off 13,996 tickets.
