Nikka Costa Announces West Coast Shows To Promote New Album
Nikka Costa is hitting the road for the first time in over six years and will play several shows on the West Coast in September to promote her upcoming album Dirty Disco, which drops Aug. 16.
The funk and soul singer will kick off her brief run at Ventura Music Hall in Ventura, California, on Sept. 20, and the routing includes stops at Cornerstone Berkeley, Elk’s Temple in Tacoma, Portland’s Polaris Hall and House of Blues San Diego before wrapping at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on Sept. 30.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. PST and are available on Costa’s website, nikkacosta.com. Her new single “Dance ‘N Forget” and music video will be released this Friday.
Costa is managed by Boo Management and Consulting and repped by QG Enterprise worldwide except in North America. She most recently supported Beck at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Jan. 6 and played an intimate show at City Winery Chicago six years ago which grossed $8,484 off 254 tickets sold, according to the Pollstar Boxoffice.
