An apparent sewer line blockage under a row of Sunset Strip establishments was the culprit, the Whisky’s Christine Contreras told Pollstar.

An inch of effluent washed over the floor about two hours before the sold-out show was to begin and just as the Boston-based band was arriving.

The show was rescheduled at the Roxy on May 25.

The Key Club and two other establishments in the immediate area were also reportedly affected by the problemAccording to Contreras, the Whisky is moving quickly to lay a new floor and carpeting before additional shows are affected.

In the meantime, the Bosstones continued their tour schedule in support of their new album, Pay Attention, and are preparing to co-headline this year’s Van’s Warped Tour which kicks off in Fresno, Calif. on June 23.
