Comedian Paul Rodriguez, Michael Martin Murphy, Ali MacGraw and Gary Morris have committed to the show and more performers are expected to be announced soon.

A silent auction will be held prior to the 7:30 p.m. event at the Santa Fe Opera Theatre. All proceeds from the evening will go to the American Red Cross – New Mexico Disaster Relief Fund for fire victims.

The Cerro Grande Fire has become the largest forest fire in New Mexico history, consuming more than 46,200 acres as of May 16 and causing property damage estimated at close to $1 billion, including the devastation in Los Alamos.

“It has been a very tense and scary time for New Mexico,” Santa Fe resident Travis said in announcing the benefit. “My wife and I have not been able think of much other than the terrible fire and the beauty of New Mexico.”

Tickets are $50, with special gold circle tickets available for $200, which includes a special reception with Travis after the show.

The country star begins a five-month tour June 21 of mainly fairs and casinos in support of his latest album, Man Ain’t Made Of Stone.
