Motorhead Sends Out Wake Up Call
DENVER (AP) _ To fans of the heavy-metal band Motorhead, louder is better.
But the racket the band made in the hallway of a hotel at 4:30 a.m. Friday had a less enthusiastic audience.
Mikkey Dee and two members of the English band’s entourage were arrested after a disturbance at a Holiday Inn in downtown Denver.
A guest at the hotel called security when he was awakened by pounding on his door and screaming outside.
“It appears to be an isolated incident that resulted from the band member’s intoxication,” explained a Holiday Inn spokeswoman, noting the band apparently was in the hotel bar until closing at 2 a.m.
“I think they forgot which room they were in. They thought it was their own.”
