New Dates For Prog-Rocker
Now that 1970s prog-rockers Yes have wrapped up their summer tour, the band’s guitarist, Steve Howe, is picking up his ax and hitting the road solo.
He’ll spend September and early October in Europe before crossing the pond to open a club and theatre tour October 17 at the Tralf in Buffalo, N.Y.
There are 19 dates on his current itinerary, which winds down at the Carefree Theatre in West Palm Beach, Fla., November 11. He’ll set sail the next day on a MusicCruise voyage to the Bahamas on a “Rock ‘n Roll Fantasy” theme cruise.
When he hasn’t been toiling with Yes or ‘80s super group Asia, Howe has built a notable discography of 14 albums to keep diehard fans happy, dating back to his debut release, Beginnings, in 1976. This time out, he’s supporting his latest album, Homebrew 2.
