The Reinvention Of Corey Feldman
Feldman’s acting career got a jump-start with featured roles in “Stand By Me,” “The Goonies,” and “The Lost Boys,” but ended up on the slag heap thanks to a string of B-movie roles brought on by a well-publicized bout with drugs and alcohol.
Feldman’s most recent film role was as Kinky Finklestein in “Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Part 4,” released in 1999.
While Feldman has played around with the idea of a music career for a few years – with a CD, Love Left, released on a small label in 1995 – he’s prepared to dive into the music scene in earnest this fall.
The Corey Feldman Band takes to the club circuit with a 26-date cross country trek that launches November 3 in Spokane, Wash.
The tour hits mostly secondary markets but Feldman will do a few gigs in big cities including Denver, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta and San Diego.
The current itinerary closes out in San Luis Obispo, Calif., but more dates are expected to be announced.
