So they’ve decided to extend their hugely successful Soul 2 Soul 2000 tour with a third leg that takes what was originally a summer tour into December.

After a short break, the husband and wife country music tandem will return to the road November 24 at the Firstar Center in Cincinnati.

The time off should give Hill a chance to recover from an injury she received during McGraw’s annual Swampstock benefit softball game and concert in Rayville, La. The singer hurt her ankle when she tried to stop a line drive with her leg during the celebrity ball game October 22.

The couple’s new arena dates include a few shows in secondary markets, including Madison, Wis. and Richmond, Va.

Soul 2 Soul 2000 launched July 12 at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, and is shaping up as one of the top-grossing tours of the year with close to $30 million in gross receipts so far.

More dates are expected to be added soon and don’t be surprised if there are some Canadian stops added to the itinerary.
