The college stops will be one-hour gigs for students at schools in Florida, Massachusetts and Georgia.

The band will squeeze those caffeine-inspired sets into a full schedule that will keep the Virginia-based sextet in clubs and theatres through a December 29 show at Irving Plaza in New York City.

It’s been a typically busy year for the Pat McGee Band. In addition to their usually relentless club schedule, the band saw the insides of much larger venues on bills with The Who, Allman Brothers Band, Fastball and Sister Hazel.

The acoustic-tinged rock outfit is out backing up its latest release, Shine, which came out in the spring.
