Even Stars Get Stranded
Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson was stranded on a Los Angeles airport tarmac February 20, leaving his Denver fans high and dry when he was unable to catch up with the group in time for their concert that night.
The Boys went on as a quartet without him since fans were already lining up at the venue when the other Backstreeters learned Richardson would not arrive in time to perform.
Richardson had returned to his Los Angeles home February 19 to attend to some “personal business,” and planned to be in Denver in time for the BSB’s Black & Blue tour appearance at the Pepsi Center.
It wasn’t to be. Weather delays and airport closures left the Boy stranded, much to the chagrin of his brokenhearted fans.
Richardson is expected to re-join his bandmates – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean – in time for their next show, February 23 in Vancouver.
