The tour begins April 14, but more importantly the band will be playing (what else?) four-twenty, dude. That is, April 20 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles with Cypress Hill. The date may not mean much to some, but any kid that sneakily penciled “4:20” on his or her Pee Chee folder knows it is the very unofficial national pot-smoker’s day.

“I don’t believe that any man or any government or any police agency should be able to dictate how a man decides to interact with a plant that the Creator put here,” KMK’s Brad Daddy X told Pollstar.

There are no guarantees on this, but the group, voted band of the year by “High Times” magazine, could make at least one other similar remark from the stage during this outing.

The Dr. Greenbaum’s 420 Harvest show will also feature Soulfly and Planet Asia. After that, KMK will mow through Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago and Pittsburgh. Suburban Noize labelmate Corporate Avenger will be in tow for the duration.

The Orange County, Calif.-based hip-hop/rap band also includes a drummer on a custom three-wheel bicycle and a dancer who is “half man, half machine.”
