The marathon outing will roll out June 6 at the Meadows Music Center in Hartford, Conn. The band is expected to be on the road for months supporting their latest, Just Push Play. Frontman Steven Tyler has been quoted saying the outing could eventually last as long as two years.

Aerosmith plans to take the summer shed circuit by storm this year, rumbling through markets such as New York, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, New Orleans, and Cincinnati.

Additional dates and venues in at least 19 more markets including Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Miami will be announced as soon as they are firmed up.

According to SFX, tickets for the first batch of dates go on sale April 21.

The Boston-based band has already had a landmark year with their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the release of a highly regarded album just last month.
