Clapton’s World Tour Rolls On
With the second leg of his North American jaunt drawing to a close next month, Eric Clapton has lined up a string of shows in South America and Mexico.
The Southern Hemisphere dates start October 4 in Chile and run through the 19th. Slowhand stops in major venues in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico.
The world tour, which launched in February in Europe, marks the first major outing in almost three years for the rock legend. Clapton’s tour is expected to move to the Pacific Rim before the year is out and will continue into 2002.
