Key acts along for the ride include Los Amigos Invisibles, La Ley, Molotov, Kool Keith, Dover, El Otro Yo, and Enanitos Verdes. Artists representing nine countries will be out to wake up the global village during the tour.

Watcha is masterminded by the guy who cooked up the Vans Warped Tour – Kevin Lyman. Along with CAA booking agent Daryl Eaton and artist manager Jorge Mondragon, Lyman saw that the alternative rock en Español movement transcended language barriers and musical genres, and Watcha was born.

Now one of the few truly unique package tours, the Warped-inspired outing keeps growing. For the 2001 installment, the tour itinerary has expanded, stages have been added and MTV-ES has joined as a co-sponsor.

Venues have not been confirmed but Watcha is expected to start in Denver and hit Toronto, New York, Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, and other big cities before wrapping in San Jose, Calif.
