Madonna Silenced By Laryngitis
Madonna‘s August 3 show at East Rutherford, N.J.’s Continental Airlines Arena has been canceled. The artist, now in the ninth week of her Drowned World Tour, is suffering from laryngitis, according to her representatives.
Madonna’s voice was reportedly hoarse during her August 2 performance at the venue and her doctor ordered bed rest for the following day.
The show was to be the Material Mom’s ninth sold out concert in the New York area. The date will not be rescheduled and all tickets will be refunded.
The August 7- 8 shows at the FleetCenter in Boston are expected to take place as planned.
The Drowned World tour continues across the States until September 14 when it concludes with a four-night run at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
