Spawned in part out of sheer boredom, members Buzz McCoy and Groovie Mann hooked up to make a movie and became a band. The group has been celebrating the bad taste of B-movies, tabloid headlines, sexually ambiguous decadence, and synthesizers since 1987.

The Thrill Kill Kult incorporate these themes with visual arts and industrial dance music to create their campy vision. In order to ensure the music blends seamlessly with the visual presentations, Buzz and Groovie personally design the artwork and live productions for their albums.

While remaining largely underground and cultish, Thrill Kill Kult have had several club hits since their 1987 conception. “…And This Is What The Devil Does,” “Kooler Than Jesus,” and “A Girl Doesn’t Get Killed By A Make Believe Lover…Cuz It’s Hot.”

The Thrill Kill Kult tour just about every year, usually taking the road with a variety of like-minded artists, including a guy who shares their penchant for vinyl – Marilyn Manson.
