The Irish rock band will offer a free webcast of its concert October 10 at the University of Notre Dame.

RealNetworks, the Seattle-based maker of Internet music and video players, will produce the show, which will be available only in Real’s format.

The company said it plans to install multiple cameras around the stage, and viewers will be able to pick which angle they want to watch the show from.

The show begins at 9 p.m. EDT on the Web sites www.U2.com and www.real.com.

This marks U2’s second trip across North America in support of the album All That You Can’t Leave Behind. There are 22 stops on the tour, which runs through November 19.
