“I want to go out and see the faces of our fans in an intimate environment, just me and my guitars,” said Alexakis. “What I want to accomplish with this tour is to take some of the older Everclear songs and bring them back to their basic form. I also want to take some of the new songs from the upcoming Everclear album out for a test drive.”

Along with performing familiar and new Everclear songs, Alexakis will reach back into his past and dig out some songs from his old band, Colorfinger.

Everclear spent the greater part of 2001 out on the road. The first bit of the year was spent with Nickelback supporting and the latter half saw American Hi-Fi and The Mayfield Four catching the opening slot. Sandwiched in between those two tours, Everclear opened for matchbox twenty’s outing, which pulled a No. 11 rank on Pollstar’s Top 100 tours of 2001.
