Jones, who didn’t initially realize the extent of the damage, went home for a few hours when the pain and swelling became too much. He decided to have his foot checked out and doctors determined that it had been broken.

As a result, Jones will have to stay off his feet for a bit and then wear a foam boot brace for six weeks.

But all that hasn’t stopped Jones from continuing with his tour. Shows originally scheduled for April 19 and 20 were moved to May 4 and 12, respectively. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Jones’ next shows begin April 26 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Along with a cowboy boot for his left foot, Jones will be sporting his new foam boot on the right side, making quite the country couture fashion statement.
