“But… But… Charlie?”

“Oh, and did I say he’s rich? Yes, Charlie is the soul mate I’ve been waiting for all my life.”

“But I thought I was your one and only. Gee, I guess this means we won’t be seeing Jimmy Buffett together this summer.”

“No, Bill, I’m afraid not. Nor can I go with you to see Neil Diamond and Elton John. I’m a married woman, now. It wouldn’t be right. I can’t be seen going to a concert, like Ian Anderson or Fu Manchu, with another man.”

“No, I guess not. But I don’t know what I’m going to do with these Rolling Stones tickets.”

“Huh?”

“I guess I’ll have to find someone else to share these front row tickets for The Stones at Boston’s in September. Good luck on your new life, Martha. I’m sure Charlie will make you very happy.”

“Charlie who?”
