Archer Prewitt and The National Trust support on most American dates, after which Rouse heads to the Southern Hemisphere for a solo Australian tour.

Concert goers can expect to hear a mixture of songs from Rouse’s three albums, as well as a cover or two.

The Nashville-by-way-of-Nebraska guitarist is touring behind his latest, Under Cold Blue Stars.

Rouse’s debut, Dressed Up Like Nebraska, came out in1998 to widespread critical acclaim, helping pave the way for the singer/songwriter to finally quit his day jobs and pursue his dream. Support slots with Son Volt, Joe Henry, Aimee Mann and The Cowboy Junkies quickly followed, as well as a sophomore album, Home.

Recently, Rouse’s tunes have been featured on the “Vanilla Sky” soundtrack, as well as on various TV shows including “Ed,” “Roswell,” and “Party Of Five,” helping the small town guy gain a wider audience.
