Hey, Hey. It’s The Elms
Newbie pop-rockers The Elms are ready to join a veteran master of the genre as support for a few shows. What started out as a one-off invitation from Peter Frampton has now turned into a seven-date support slot with the rock star, beginning July 21. Dates are scattered through September 21.
“We realize how great of an opportunity this is and we are honored by it,” lead singer Owen Thomas said. “It’s something to write home about.”
The support dates are mixed in with The Elms’ headlining tour, which launches in late July and stretches into November. The band will hit major and out-of-the-way markets from coast to coast
Near the end of the road trip, the band’s sophomore album, Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll, will be released. The disc is a follow up to the group’s smash debut, The Big Surprise, which helped garner the new band two Dove Awards nominations. The disc also spawned the hit single “Hey, Hey,” and received major airplay on MTV2 – a milestone for any Christian band.
