Ozzy left the tour after the July 28 date in Atlanta but not before telling the crowd at HiFi Buys Amphitheatre that Sharon’s latest CAT scan showed no new traces of cancer, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is expected to return to the tour August 7th in Clarkston, Mich.

System Of A Down have been filling in as headliners in Ozzy’s absence. Sharon had arranged for all fans attending to receive a free special treat from the food concessions as a compensation prize for the dates Ozzy missed.

Initially, the first two days of the traveling metal show that were pushed back when Sharon announced she was having cancer surgery at the beginning of July. Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed that her cancer had spread and she would be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
