Defaulting On Europe
Default have been forced to postpone their first European dates due to singer Dallas Smith’s flu-induced throat swelling. A doctor recommended the group stay home and rest.
The band was scheduled to kick off the six-date jaunt August 27 in Glasgow. It now appears their next performance will be September 6 in Vancouver, B.C.
“We’re really disappointed about not being able to go to Europe right now,” said Smith. “But as we have a lot of touring ahead of us for the rest of the year and beyond, it’s really better to be safe than sorry.”
The Canadian rockers have been on the road supporting their debut album, The Fallout. The disc is scheduled for European release in the fall and the postponed dates are expected to be rescheduled around that time.
