Bridge School Shows Announced
The dates and lineup for the 16th annual Bridge School benefit concerts have been announced. The shows, arranged by Neil Young, take place October 26 and 27 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.
James Taylor, Radiohead‘s Thom York, Jack Johnson, Ryan Adams, Vanessa Carlton, Tenacious D, and Young perform both nights. Foo Fighters close the show on Saturday and the Sunday concert features a set by the surviving Grateful Dead members performing as The Other Ones.
The mostly acoustic showcase always attracts surprise guests and impromptu jam sessions between unlikely combinations of musicians.
Tickets go on sale September 22 at 10 a.m. Pacific time and cost $38.75 and $48.75 per day.
Proceeds from the show go to the Bridge School, which was founded by Young and his wife, Pegi, for the communicative and educational development of children with severe speech and physical impairments.
