The Euro leg kicks off at the U.K.’s Cardiff University October 19 and bounces around the country through the end of the month. A second London date was added at The Forum (28) when the first night sold out.

Then, the Stoners head east for shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden and several in Germany. They finish up back in Amsterdam December 2 after circling through Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.

Coincidentally, the drummer who recorded with the band for its latest album, Songs For The Deaf, and came along for a North American tour earlier in the year, has another group that will be touring Europe at about the same time.

The little-known drummer, Dave Grohl, and his equally obscure band, Foo Fighters, begin their tour of the Continent about a month later than QOTSA, and hit arenas in many of the same markets. New England rockers Cave In join the Foos for the U.K. dates.
