The Monks keep to American theatres into December. Dates for a second leg will be announced later.

Utilizing original music, special lighting and stage design, and superhuman feats, the Shaolin Monks will display a tightly executed self-defense show, telling the story of how their peaceful existence was challenged by the necessity to defend their country (China) and their temple.

The story also offers a look into the daily rituals of the Shaolin Monks, whose order was founded in 495 A.D.

The Wheel Of Life tour follows on the heels of a successful spring run. Much like that tour, the autumn outing is a multi-sensory theatrical spectacle that presents 1,500 years of the Monks’ power and spirit in the context of an artistic interpretation of a true historical event.

Think “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” with human special effects rather than computerized ones.
