“I wanted to make sure when I put this tour together that the tickets were cheap,” Dope frontman Edsel said. “We were really upset that our last album was $18 in the stores and it reminded me of how the kids keep getting ripped off. I know that if the bands are willing to do what they have to in order to keep our costs down, we can deliver a killer show to the kids for next to nothing.”

Tickets are, as the tour title indicates, $12.

Most of the bands onboard are either in the process of making a new album or have just released one. Both Dope and Society 1 (headed by veteran adult film star Matt Zane) are recording tracks for their second and first albums respectively, while Primer 55 and Skinlab released their records over the summer.

The outing is sponsored by German alcohol-maker, Jagermeister, which has backed tours featuring Drowning Pool, Coal Chamber, and Ill NiƱo, among others. Despite the nature of the sponsor, shows on the $12 Riot Tour are open to all ages.
