It’s been more than seven years since Baker last performed and longer since her last album. Shortly after releasing Rhythm Of Love in 1994, she disappeared from the music scene. Her time off from the business was spent raising her two sons and battling contract disputes with her record company.

A seven-time Grammy Award winner and singer of hits including “Sweet Love,” “Giving You All The Best That I Got,” “Good Love,” “Body And Soul,” and “Caught Up In The Rapture,” Baker has sold more than 13 million records. Thanks to her steamy alto and romantic tunes, she quickly became one of the most popular adult R&B singers of the ‘80s.

Rhino Records recently released The Best Of Anita Baker, perhaps paving the way for this soulstress’ revival this winter. She is also said to be working on a new record.

Tickets for the two shows are on sale and set at $60.
