“There’s the nights we play country music followed by punk rock,” Williams says. “I’ll tell the older crowd they might want to take off about now. A few times, they’ll stick around, then come up later to tell me how much they enjoyed it.”

Midwest fans will get a few weeks work of opportunities to do just that when Williams takes to the road. The tour runs from November 6-26.

He’s been out supporting his new album, Lovesick, Broken & Driftin’, which was released at the beginning of this year. The record is a follow-up to Williams’ debut, Risin’ Outlaw. The disc – also a slogan tattooed on his arm – helped Williams break a name for himself outside the family clan and establish a toehold in the punk/rock/honky-tonk-a- billy scene.
