What makes this tour so special is that it’s Oakenfold’s debut as a live performer. The second half of the set features him backed by a band as they premiere extended versions of tracks from his latest album, Bunkka.

Along with the full band experience, images of guest vocalists on the album – Perry Farrell, Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town, Carla Werner and others – will appear on a giant screen behind the performers. Oakenfold filmed special vocal sequences on a blue screen in order to manipulate the images.

Oakenfold has been a leader in break house music in Britain since the late ‘80s. In addition to hosting dance nights at various super-clubs, he also started one of the most successful dance labels of the ‘90s, Perfecto Records.
