The band failed to show up at their December 6 gig – the second time to do so during this tour – in Philadelphia, which only incited minor disturbances from angry fans. Ike Richman, a spokesman for Comcast-Spectacor said that an unidentified band member was ill.

GNR then went on to cancel gigs for December 8 (the second of two scheduled Philly concerts), 9, 21, 22, 30, and 31.

At this time, there’s talk the whole Chinese Democracy tour could be nixed. MTV reports that Interscope Records said the remainder of the tour, which was scheduled to run through the start of January, is completely off.

However, the tour’s promoter, Clear Channel Entertainment, has yet to confirm that the entire tour has been canceled.
