The Jazz Band, which began in the ‘60s, is no stranger to the road. Despite some of the members pushing 90 years of age, they regularly tour the world over and have performed in places including Thailand and at the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Israel.

Not surprisingly, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band got its name from the Preservation Hall – a landmark building in New Orleans. Since its inception, the band has sought to preserve the city’s special brand of jazz, which evolved around the turn of last century.

Over the years, the band has seen many different faces but has remained committed to bringing old style New Orleans jazz to contemporary audiences.
