“There’s a real chemistry and synergy between bandmembers in Audioslave that translates in the songs that we wrote and the way that we rock onstage,” guitarist Morello told VH1. “It feels great playing those songs in any size room.”

While Morello may like to jam in venues ranging from his garage to an arena, Audioslave’s tour is taking them on a strictly theatre-sized route. The North American trek launches February 21 in Denver – nearly one month after the band finishes their quick run around Europe and Japan.

Fans in Chicago, Boston and San Francisco will get their chance to see Audioslave twice as the band is sticking around for two-night engagements in those cities. The tour is expected to wrap March 22 in Seattle.

According to VH1, tickets are general admission, so it’s first-come, first chance to rock out in the front row.

This tour marks Audioslave’s first outing in the States. They were originally scheduled to join in the Ozzfest merriment last summer, but pulled out to focus on recording their self-titled album. Since, the band has played a scant handful of gigs.
