According to The Wall Street Journal, Ozzy has a dream that his wife and kids have become members of the Osmond and the Brady Bunch families. “After swearing at a garbage-can liner that won’t fit into the disposal, Ozzy watches his children, Jack and Kelly, transform into Donny and Marie Osmond. The ‘Osmonds’ are dressed in campy 1970’s outfits and sing the schmaltzy theme song of their old TV variety show.

“Waking up in a sweat, Ozzy is soothed by his wife – not Sharon, but Florence Henderson, a.k.a. Carol Brady.”

The point of the ad: Pepsi Twist is a “twist on a great thing.”

Super Bowl commercials are known for featuring the best of the best – often the reason many endure the game – and for costing a small fortune for the slots. Costs can be as high as $2.2 million for a 30 second bit. The Osbournes’ Pepsi ad runs 45 seconds.

All told, Ozzy is expected to be in 2 ½ minutes worth of Pepsi ads, pushing the soft-drink’s “smaller” products of Pepsi Twist, Diet Pepsi, and Sierra Mist.
