Confirmed shows thus far find the group on the road through May. The itinerary includes a two-night stand in San Francisco. More gigs for the “extensive tour” are expected to be forthcoming.

Playing alongside Chesnutt, who covers vocal, guitar, harmonica, casio and omnichord duties, are his backing band, the Amorphous Strums – Curtiss Pernice (guitar, bass, omnichord, backing vocals), Sam Mixon (bass, guitar, omnichord, piano, backing vocals) and Ballard Lesemann (drums, bass, backing vocals).

Chesnutt took a couple years off from touring after his Left To His Own Devices album was released in 2001. He spent the down time working on a couple of side projects, one of which was the second album for Brute – his other band with some Widespread Panic members. That disc, Co-Balt, was released last year.
