It’s All In Your Head, slated for release July 22, is the third album for Eve 6. The band spent a year and a half on the road after their last album, Horrorscope, but haven’t toured since 2001.

The band has gotten a healthy amount of publicity for the tour due to singer/bassist Max Collins’ recent brush with the law.

Collins was hauled off May 27 near Pittsburgh after workers at the Crowne Plaza hotel told police he walked up to the front desk in the nude and requested shaving cream. When police arrived, he was wearing the shaving cream over his genitals.

The incident took place a few hours after Eve 6’s performance at Pittsburgh’s X-Fest concert.

After being arrested and originally charged with indecent exposure, Collins pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct. A district judge ordered him to pay a $400 fine plus court fees, bringing the grand total to $514.

Collins took the opportunity during his June 3 hearing to plug his upcoming album and his next concert in town. “I promise to keep all my clothes on at our show July 2,” he stated.
