Alien Ant Farm Back In The Saddle
It’s been a little more than one year since the bus crash that threatened Alien Ant Farm‘s future and the health of its members. The crash in Spain killed the band’s bus driver and severely injured the group, including lead singer Dryden Mitchell who suffered a broken neck.
But after months of rehabilitative therapy, the band is back together and ready to rock the States’ club scene once more.
Alien Ant Farm will hit the road starting July 5 in Las Vegas and wrap things up one month later in Houston. The band is pretty optimistic about how they expect the tour to go.
Mitchell told MTV News, “I think it should be pretty good. We’re a well-rehearsed band. We’re going to start to rehearse in a week. I guess the idea behind it is to be tight and not try and get tight a few weeks into a tour that only lasts a month.”
Along with the spate of new shows, Alien Ant Farm have a new album to show off. TruANT is due out August 19 and follows the group’s ANThology from 2001.
