The mostly U.S. outing – there’s one show in Toronto – finds Darkest Hour, The Vacancy, and Tabula Rasa supporting on all dates, with A Static Lullaby hopping aboard for select shows.

As (Anti-Flag member) #2 explained, “With this tour, we are trying to play with bands you normally wouldn’t think of when you think Anti-Flag. In the spirit of that idea, we are calling the tour ‘One People, One Struggle.’ Regardless of what music is in your head and all the pretty things involved with day-to-day life, ‘it’s time to see the world as a whole, time to light a fire with the fuel, the conscience movement in our hearts.'”

Somewhere in between touring, the band managed to sneak back into the recording studio and lay some tracks down for an album, which should drop October 21 on the Fat Wreck Chords label.

According to #2, fans can expect to see the title of the new album appearing on the band’s Web site sometime within the next week.

Speaking of new tunes from Anti-Flag, they recently contributed “Bring Out Your Dead” to a PETA benefit album, Liberation: Songs To Benefit PETA. The album features a slew of other punk-minded groups, including Good Charlotte, The Used, and NOFX.
